It’s the most wonderful time of the year… for making some money! To help you prepare your Shop for the holidays, we’ve provide some useful tips below.
Tip #1: Activate Top-Selling Accessories
Over the past three years, we’ve been tracking the top-selling Christmas accessories:
- Coffee/Tea Mug (ID 31)
- Full Color Mug (ID 949)
- Adjustable Apron (ID 1186)
- Snap-back Baseball Cap (ID 803)
You should also consider activating our brand-new Camper Mug (ID 1313), which has already proven to be very popular. You could also consider products like pillow cases, smartphone cases, and posters!
When it comes to apparel, customers still tend to opt for the best-selling options, which you can explore here and here.
Tip #2: Update Your Shop’s Imagery
Everyone enjoys being in the Christmas spirit, and this includes your customers. To get them in a festive mood before they make a purchase, style your Shop so it’s prepared for the holidays.
First, you can change the color scheme of your Shop under General > Color scheme. Opting for a red and green theme will pair perfectly with the start page Christmas teaser, which we’ve provided under Page Settings > Start Page > Teaser. You could also consider adding a Christmas-twist to your “About the Shop” section, and you could add a holiday flair to your Shop logo.
You’ll also want to update your imagery on your social media accounts. This includes your pictures and banners, and these images should reflect the joyous mood that’s common during the holidays (specifically, sparkly/colorful images or photos of families and friends).
Unfortunately, Christmas doesn’t last forever. Make sure you continue to update your Shop and profiles as the seasons change.
Tip #3: Rely on Our Shop Promos
Between now and the end of the year, we’ll be providing you with a number of promos that you can use in your Shop. While we’re providing the discounts, it’s up to you to do the promoting. Let your followers and customers know of the potential savings that will be happening over the next month or so, and continue pumping out engaging content so those individuals are always aware of the sales. This blog post provides a thorough guide to planning your promotion plan, while this blog adds some context and additional strategies.
There are three major promotions that you should be keeping in mind as you prepare for the holidays:
- Black Friday Weekend: November 23rd to 25th
- 15% off everything with code CYBER18
- Cyber Monday: November 26th
- 15% off everything AND free shipping with code CYBERSALE
- Christmas Promo: December 2nd to 4th
- Free shipping with code MERRY18
Tip #4: Continue Being Creative
Even if there aren’t ongoing promotions, there are still plenty of ways to lure customers to your Shop. These consumers are going to be hunting for gifts throughout December, and a clever marketing campaign could help to guide them directly to your products.
For instance, a “10 Days Until Christmas” theme wouldn’t only provide some brand familiarity, but it will also add a sense of urgency. Ultimately, such content is key, as it’s one of the most effective ways to convince customers to make a purchase.

Not all items are being shown for design when i upload my designs, like posters and leggings for ex. I see them for sell but not for print in my shop.
Hi Yolanda,
For posters to show you need a specifc graphic size.
Best to read this FAQ and to watch this tutorial: https://help.spreadshirt.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001698514-Optimize-Designs-for-Poster-Print
Leggings cannot be used in the partner area for you to create products to sell since these cannot be printed in a digital print.
Let me know if you have any additional questions.
